Museum Post Bandung

Museum post Bandung locate in Cilaki road no.73 Bandung, Indonesia.
The Entry fee for this museum is also free of charge .

What are the inside of Museum Post Bandung?

Of Course is post related item that has history in Indonesia. Collection from post office boxes, stamps, post officer uniform, and other post related item. Picture bellow is a various post office boxes in Indonesia.

Picture bellow is Address print machine produce by brand Bradma since 1945 the same year with independence of Indonesia. 

Left picture above is general appearance of stamps collection section. Right picture above is collection of stamps. Here you can see various stamps from time to time and from various country.

Stamp Collection are various base on country, age, and series. Example animals series, butterfly series, people series place, and many other. The stamps are so many to count and you can waste your time to see all the stamps. But if you like it you will enjoy it because it so many to see.

First one is a manual typing machine that used for long time and the second one is weight measurement for letter and package in post office.

This will be the last thing I will share it. This one is my favorite item in this museum. The vintage post item vending machine. I'm not really sure what they sold with this machine but I think it sold item like post card, stamp, or something like that.

Museum Geology

Museum Geology Bandung locate in Diponegoro road no.57 Bandung, Indonesia

The entry fee for this museum for public is Rp.3000,- ($ 0.20 with exchange rate $ 1 = Rp.15.000,-)

For student the entry fee is Rp.2000,- ( $ 0.134  with exchange rate $ 1 = Rp.15.000,-)

This museum are build in 1928 - 1929 by Holland Architect as Geology Laboratorium.

The Interesting of this museum is beside the Main entrance there is Souvenir shop. The interesting thing is you must buy the ticket in this souvenir shop. Usually there are ticket counter and in the end you will find the souvenir shop but that not happen in here.

What are the inside this Geology Museum Bandung?
This museum consist of several section. Those section are fossil, stone, human evolution, and human creation.

First thing will welcome you is this awesome creature. This creature called Elephas hysudrindicus or ancient elephant.

The main thing in fossil section that amaze me is this fossil. The Fossil of Tyrannosaurus Rex Osborn. The explanation of this is the cruel lizard. Tyrannosaurus is the biggest and the wildest carnivore.

In Stone section you can see Phenomenal Morphology in Indonesia. As you can see in picture above there is also big screen television that explain in video about geology in Indonesia.

The Main thing in stone section is this stone called Amethyst Crystal found in west sumatra, Indonesia. I kinda like it because it is beautiful to see.

Two pictures bellow is some collection in human evolution section. Human evolution explain about the theory evolution by Charles Darwin. The fossil that prove of human evolution even though there still a missing link in Charles Darwin's theory.

The picture above is a reconstruction of Homo Erectus based on Specimen of Skull by Mr. Yoichi Yazawa.

The Last one is human creation section, Here you can see some human creation from long time ago that used by human. Picture above is some collection that you can see it.

Museum Mandala Wangsit

Museum Mandala Wangsit locate in Lembong road no,38 Bandung, Indonesia.
There are no exact entry fee for this museum.
You just come here and give some donation for taking care this museum.

What are the inside of this mandala wangsit museum?
Museum mandala wangsit is Military museum so inside are history Indonesia Military
There are history in form of picture, weapon, and uniform. War's Vehicle are locate outside the museum for display.

Picture above is table and chairs that used by the first president of Indonesia one day before the independence day of Indonesia which are 16 august 1945.

Two picture above is collection of traditional song lyric that used to sing in that time.

Always save the best for the last. Tiger is a mascot for Mandala wangsit.
This one is my favorite thing in this museum because this two really look alive.
